Association of Doctoral Candidates and Doctoral Graduates
The Association of Doctoral Candidates and Doctoral Graduates “FeDoN” was founded in December 2009 in Reykjavik and had its first annual meeting on the 28th of January.
It is considered to safeguard the interests of all doctoral candidates and graduates in Iceland in matters related to educational, research, economic, social and professional issues. FeDoN will represent the Icelandic doctoral graduate in the Eurodoc network. The aim is to increase networking between all members of FeDoN and in addition with other members of Eurodoc. FeDoN’s aim is to function as a forum for doctoral candidates and graduates to discuss, share and exchange experiences.
Félag Doktorsnema og Nýdoktora (FeDoN)
Félag doktorsnema og nýdoktora “FeDoN” var stofnað í desember 2009 og var fyrsti aðalfundur haldinn 28. janúar 2010 í Háskóla Íslands.
Félagið á að gæta hagsmuna allra doktorsnema og nýdoktora á Íslandi í málefnum tengdum menntun og rannsóknum. Einnig tengdum fjárhagslegum, félagslegum og faglegum málefnum sem snúa að doktorsnemum. FeDoN á að miðla þekkingu um Eurodoc til doktorsnema á Íslandi og vera virkur samskiptamiðill milli þeirra og aðila að Eurodoc.
Markmið FeDoN er að vera milliliður í samskiptum dokorsnema þar sem þeir geta rætt sín á milli, skipst á skoðunum og sagt frá reynslu sinni.
