The annual conference 2008 took place in Fribourg/Freiburg in Switzerland at the premises of Swiss’ only bilingual university and was organised by actionuni.

Eurodoc welcomed speakers from major Swiss players in research policy (Swiss National Science Foundation, Swiss rectors’ conference), research-intensive industry (Novartis), European organisations (League of Research Universities LERU) and renowned experts on human resources, doctoral programmes and gender issues.
