The purpose of this WG is to provide a platform for national associations and early-career researchers to discuss how generative artificial intelligence (AI) currently is being discussed in relation to doctoral education or early-career researchers and, facilitate the formation of an informed and agreed-upon position for Eurodoc on generative AI in policy-level discussions related to higher education.

The goals of the WG for the 2026/2027 term is to (1) provide a space for knowledge exchange on how to ensure academic integrity with the growing use of AI, and in particular how to do so in alignment with open science practices, and (2) draft a statement on academic integrity, research evaluation, and artificial intelligence.
