The main goal of the “Open Practices, Transparency and Integrity for Modern Academia" (OPTIMA) project is implementing Open Science practices in Ukraine to improve the quality of National higher education services. OPTIMA's priorities include:

  • engaging disadvantaged academic communities of displaced Ukrainian universities,
  • focusing on climate change,
  • inclusivity by means of modern information technologies.

Eurodoc is a full partner in OPTIMA project and will bring wide international dimension and alternative view on how Open Science is implemented and what problems arise, especially for ECRs in diverse academic environments. The main role of Eurodoc is to strengthen the project outputs on a volunteer basis. In particular, Eurodoc will participate as volunteers in training workshops as experts and trainers on OS (WP1 “Learning EU best practices’) and volunteer experts on OS in multiplication events and Ukrainian Open Science Forum (WP5 “Dissemination and exploitation of project results”) as well as will participate in Kick-off meeting and provide other managing functions (WP6 “Project management”).
