Feedback and Closing

The programme is aimed to:

  1. create perspective and foster an active and empowering dialogue on career development, entrepreneurship and employability in the community of young researchers,
  2. break walls between disciplines, institutes, and regions in order to boost synergistic inter-university and intersectoral collaborations at regional, national and European levels and
  3. ensure that PhD holders actively take part in the creation of a sustainable economy and innovation-driven society.

Thematically we have two main themes spread over two days, namely:

  1. the professional career development of ECRs (via courses, tools and mentoring) and
  2. the role of PhD graduates in effectively tackling societal and global challenges, with a specific attention for entrepreneurship and intersectoral mobility (in interdisciplinary teams and with policy makers and citizens).
