Expression of interest for positions in the Eurodoc administration.
At the annual general meeting of Eurodoc, the following volunteer positions in the Eurodoc administration were left vacant.
- 1-2 working group coordinator(s) for “WG Equitable Opportunities and Sustainable Research Cultures”
- 1-2 English Language Officer(s)
- 1-2 Newsletter Officer(s)

Expression of interest for representatives in the working groups of CoARA.
Eurodoc is a member of the Coalition of Advancement of Research Assessment and thus actively participates in its working groups. In the 2024/2025 term Eurodoc would like to facilitate the participation of more early career researchers in the work of CoARA, and thus we call for expression of interest from ECRs in participation in the following working groups
- 1-4 members of WG Ethics and Research Integrity Policy in Responsible Research Assessment for Data and Artificial Intelligence (WG ERIP)
- 1-4 members of WG Early-and-mid-Career Researchers (EMCRs) – Assessment and Research Culture (WG EMCRs)

Expression of interest for representatives in the working groups of ISE.
Eurodoc is a member of the Initiative for Science Europe and thus actively participates in its working groups. In the 2024/2025 term Eurodoc would like to facilitate the participation of more early career researchers in the work ISE, and thus we call for expression of interest from ECRs in participation in the following working groups.
- 1-2 members of WG Horizon Europe
- 1-2 members of WG Research’s Careers

Expression of interest for participation in the committees of the Conference of INGOs
The Conference of International Non-Governmental Organisations (INGOs) of the Council of Europe is the representative body of the INGOs enjoying participatory status with the Council of Europe. The Conference of INGOs has 8 committees. A number of the committee on topics that lie beyond Eurodocs focus areas are. The board of Eurodoc recognizes that these committees could be of interest to early career researchers active in related research fields, and would therefore in the term of 2024/2025 like to facilitate the participation of 1-2 ECRs in each of the following committees.
- Civil Society Committee on the Rights of the Child in Europe: Protecting and promoting the well-being of children of all ages
- Committee on Migration Issues
- Committee Sports and Human Rights
Note, for these positions - but in case of equally qualified candidates preference will be given to applicants with a letter of support from a member organisation of Eurodoc.

Applications should be submitted to the administrative board of Eurodoc at board@eurodoc.net by August 15th 2024. The subject of email should specify which position(s) you are applying for.

The board of Eurodoc will then make the assessment of the application. The selection will be based on the letter of motivation, the CVs, letter of support from member organisations of Eurodoc, and aim to ensure diversity among the representatives of Eurodoc. Selected candidates will be invited to participate in a meeting on August 27 between 18.00 - 20.00 CET.
