Interdisciplinarity studies and research are crucial in solving some of the most complex issues in contemporary societies. Eurodoc comprises doctoral candidates, early stage researchers and other researchers of many different disciplinary and cultural backgrounds and is therefore ideally positioned to promote the discussion about the future of disciplinary configuration and interdisciplinary collaboration inside and outside academia. The Interdisciplinarity Workgroup’s members themselves come from various disciplines, for example engineering, health economics, philosophy and psychology.
The main objectives of the interdisciplinary work group are to facilitate discussions about the design of interdisciplinary studies and research, to analyze current structures and monitor main trends and key issues in this area. If you want to get involved in the workgroup’s discussions and projects (either as a member or as an external partner) please contact the workgroup coordinator.
