Travel to the Czech Republic

Due to the pandemic situation, several preventive measures are taken in the Czech Republic. You can follow the situation on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the Ministry of Health. We make sure to comply with the rules given to minimize the risks and to enjoy the conference as safely as possible. All the registered participants will be informed about the situation and if there are any necessary measures to take in due time.

From Václav Havel airport (recommended)

Bus nr. 119 runs every 3-10 minutes between the Terminals and the Nádraží Veleslavín metro station (at the green “A line”) and it takes 15 minutes. At Nádraží Veleslavín take the metro in the direction Skalka to Dejvická station (5-minute ride). At the Dejvická station, the closest exit to the dorms is the one with the escalators (exit E1). The standard ticket price for the travel between Václav Havel airport and Dejvická station is 24 Kč (1 €) for a single ticket (a ticket valid for 30 min after validation/purchase via text message).

Tickets can be purchased from the automatic ticket machines in the station, in the information offices, or via SMS (see https://www.dpp.cz/en/fares/fare-pricelist#1-1). Similarly, time schedules can be found on the journey planner on https://idos.idnes.cz/en/pid/spojeni/
